Dr Dayna TrivellionScott
Chinese Medicine Practitioner
Kinesiologist & Reiki Master
Dayna graduated from University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and is a registered practitioner with ATMS. She lives and works between her private practice in Thirroul & Ochre Acupuncture Shellharbour. Her work focuses on women’s health, hormone imbalances, sleep disturbances, anxiety and supporting children & teens health and wellbeing. Dayna collaborates with patients one-on-one to develop a comprehensive health and treatment plan.
Prior to learning Chinese medicine Dayna dedicated several years studying massage, yoga, kinesiology and other healing frameworks. She is passionate about sharing her vast knowledge of these healing practices and values helping her patients find their own ability to develop, increase, and refine deep listening to engage a true healing response.
Growing up in health orientated family she follows what is mostly intrinsic to her. Her father managed athletes and her mother, a psychologist whom practised Gestalt Therapy handed her the cult, “Women Who Run with the Wolves” as a young woman. Very much a daydreamer whose mind explores the metaphysical and existential Dayna has spent much of her life on a wandering adventure, more than ten of these living in Asia. Dayna loves the simplicity, and irony of the complexity, in the lore’s of nature. She also loves enabling people through various rites of passage to facilitate their (sometimes forgotten) natural affinity to live in balance and in harmony with nature, and consequently health. Dayna offers a unique perspective and has the ability to align several cultural theories and medicine practices in a grounded and helpful way to optimize your wellbeing.
In her free time she is enjoying the great outdoors, her big blended family and time with friends. She is always looking forward to her, next piece of chocolate, good read and travel adventure.
